DEPARTMENT - RADIOLOGY

The Department of Radiology has highly specialized equipments to meet the diagnostic needs of the patients and the clinicians. These include:

• Spiral CT Scan with 3D image reconstruction and image processing for excellent images and accurate diagnosis. This round-the-clock service helps in trauma and emergency as in CT guided aspiration and biopsies.
  
• X- Ray Plants (300MA, 500 MA, 800MA) for routine X-Ray as well as special investigations like IVP, MCU, RGU and HSG
  
• 500 MA, Plant with Image Intensifier for Fluoroscopy and for conducting contrast studies
  
• Grey Scale Ultrasound Machine for routine Ultrasound Scan of    Abdomen/Gynaecology/Obstetrics/Urology.
  
• Ultrasound for soft parts like Thyroid/Scrotal/Breast/Parathyroid.
  
• Trans vaginal/Trans rectal probe colour Doppler Ultra Sound with three probes.
  
• Colour Doppler Ultrasound for evaluation of the vasculature upper limb, lower limb, CV Doppler and cranial vasculature and other routine ultrasound where colour flow is required.
  
• Portable X-Ray Machine for ICU and NICU.
  
• C- Arm X – Ray Machine for orthopaedic operations and procedures.
