DEPARTMENT - PHYSIOLOGY

The department of physiology has well equipped and furnished Amphibian, Mammalian, haematology and clinical physiology laboratories for effective undergraduate training and research. The laboratories are well designed, with good ventilation and lighting. The equipment available includes, Bicycle ergograph, Audiometer, Mosse’s Ergograph, Sthethographs, Perimeters and Spirometers.

The experimental physiology laboratory has the basic equipment to demonstrate amphibian and mammalian experiments as per the curriculum. Animal house facilities are available for supply of laboratory animals.

The department has a 4 channel Students Biopac lab with skin electrodes, volume and pressure transducers.

The departmental library has adequate books and journals for reference. A seminar room with a seating capacity of 60 students caters to seminars, tutorials and demonstrations. A common well designed lecture hall is available for didactic lectures.
