DEPARTMENT - PAEDIATRICS

The Department has a 60-bedded Facility for general Paediatrics, an 8-bedded Paediatrics Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and 8 bedded Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). An Isolation ward is available for care of infectious patient.  Incubators, warmers, photo therapy units, Bed side monitors, ventilators, Infusion and syringe pumps of state-of-art Technology are available. 

The Department provides immunization services to the local children. This is implemented through various programmes including the Vande Mataram Programme.  

The department carries out camps in the neighbouring villages to emphasis prevention of disease and to pick up sick children in the early phase of diseases.

General OPD, this is run daily from 9.00am to 4.00PM

• Immunization clinic    -  Daily
• Diarrhoea Clinic         -  Daily
• Well Baby Clinic         -  Daily
• Asthma clinic             -  Twice a week
• Child guidance clinic  -  Twice a week
• High risk clinic            - Twice a week
• PEM  clinic                  - Twice a week
• Renal clinic                 - Once a week

The department has a well stocked library which has over 150 reference and other books and journals.
