About MVJMC & RH

MVJ medical college is a well established educational institute for imparting quality medical education. The college was established in 2001 under the umbrella of Venkatesha Education Society. It is located in Hoskote a rural district of Bangalore, and is well connected to the city.

The college is recognized by the Medical Council of India and is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences for conducting the medical undergraduate programme leading to the award of MBBS degree.

ICMR: Short Term Studentship 2016 Awardees, Ms Achalaa K MBBS - III student for Project titled "Impact of Educational Intervention in promoting KAP for prevention of Common Childhood Diseases among 9-11 year old school children in Rural Bangalore." Guided by Dr Madhusudan M, Associate Professor, Department of Community Medicine.


Mr Rajesh R N and Ms Suchitra S, V Term MBBS students have secured First Place in “MEDICAL SPELL BEE” conducted as a part of ‘SRMC EQUINOX 2017’, a National Undergraduate Medical Conference, that was held from 5th to 7th of July 2017 at Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute, Chennai.

Surgical Quiz was held on 6th May, 2017 at Bangalore Health Festival. Dr. Rajashekar and Dr. Vinay received Second Prize. Dr. Rajan conducted the Quiz.

Mr. Isaac George, 14M3295, 6th term and Mr. A. Ritesh, 13M3251, 8th term MBBS students participated in Probe – 2017 , a South Zone Intercollegiate Microbiology Quiz Competition organized by the Department of Microbiology, Manipal University, Manipal on 25th February 2017 and secured First Prize.

Mr. Isaac George, 14M3295, 6th term and Mr. Vijay Balaji K, 13M3397, 8th term MBBS students participated in the Intercollegiate Cultural Fest SYNAPSE 2k17 held on 22nd & 23rd February 2017 at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College & Hospital, Bengaluru and secured First Place in the event Medical Quiz.

Ms. Arshiya Nausheen K, 15M3418 IV term MBBS student participated in the English Jam event on 23.02.2017 in the Intercollegiate Cultural Fest SYNAPSE 2k17 at Dr. BR Ambedkar Medical College & Hospital, Bengaluru and secured First Place.
